Bands and Acts I've Seen Live

The topic came up the other day, and although it is no doubt boring for anyone who stumbled upon this page by accident, it might be of interest to someone. At any rate, it helps me try to remember what musical acts I saw live in my day. Mind you, I'm not, to the best of my knowledge, about to keel over at any time soon, but with my sorry ears, I doubt going to concerts is really in my list of future activities. Anyway, so here goes - the bands I saw live, where I saw them (in relative order), and my rating of each performance:

The Sixties

• The Cars (with Styx) @ The Coliseum; San Diego, California Rating 3.5 (Cars)/2 (Styx)
• ABBA @ The Anaheim Convention Center; Anaheim, California* Rating: 4.5

• Jackson Browne @ The Ampitheater; Universal City, California** Rating: 1

*These two concerts were within a week of each other on the same tour.

** I really did not like Jackson Browne, but I was sort of forced to go, and I did not enjoy it at all.

And I almost saw these acts, but I didn't for some fairly dumb reasons:

• Elton John @ The Hollywood Bowl; Hollywood, California (1)
• The Rolling Stones @ The Forum; Inglewood, California (2)

1. Had tickets but didn't go because my "date" didn't work out, and I, being 17, was humiliated. lol
2. I drove Heather Baer there, and she had tickets for me if I wanted to go, but I was otherwise engaged, so thought it best not to.
